Beginning April 1, 2020 Hawaiian Pacific Radio will be fine tuning it's programming and several changes will be noticed.  First, don't fear many of your favorite shows will remain.  Just refer to our schedule on this website for the times. Always remember to adjust the time accordingly since Hawaiian Pacific Radio broadcasts around the world into many countries and time zones.  We broadcast on Hawaii Standard Time.

Here are some noteworthy changes to become effective April 1st.  New breaking shows such as Island Gospel, Memory Land and Storm Warning hosted by Tony Hall, What's Your Twenty, Nothing But Old 45's Next Generation as well as several others will be presented.

Because many shows are formatted with Classic Hits of the 60's, 70's and 80's, Hawaiian Pacific Radio will be mixing Classic Hit Songs from our normal playlists and providing more Hawaiian Pacific related music in rotation along with the Motown Soul sounds.  Special features will also be placed in our playlists such as Rewind (What Happened on this Date in History), A flashback to a favorite Television Theme song and a Flashback to a Solid Gold Hit from the Vault.

Unfortunately some shows that have aired on Hawaiian Pacific Radio in the past has either discontinued syndication or no longer is a good fit for our programming, therefore being eliminated.

These are just some of our changes.  We ALWAYS welcome your input and suggestions.  You can replay to our blog here, send comments on our contact page of this website or email us at

In conjunction with our return to the Live365 Radio Network, Hawaiian Pacific Radio has changed programming and moved toward a new direction.  Efffective Monday, May 1st, 2017, Hawaiian Pacific Radio will no longer carry the Oldies and Classic Hits syndicated programs.  Although many of these programs have been very successful throughout the years, Pacific Polynesian Media, owner of Hawaiian Pacific Radio, has decided to remove these syndicated programs and make more positive changes toward Hawaiian influenced music.

We commend the producers and hosts of these syndicated shows and their dedication to provide superb entertainment throughout the years to Hawaiian Pacific Radio.

The Aloha Joe Show, our most popular listened to show and foundation of our syndicated shows will continue Monday through Saturday at 3:00 pm.  In addition, The Great Destinations Radio Show, a special travel feature, will continue on Mondays at 9:00 a.m. and Fridays at 12 Noon.  Our Christian programming continues each Sunday morning.  This will include The Sunday Morning Drive with Brenton Miles at 7:00 a.m. and Christian Music Rewind with Shawn Michaels at 10:00 a.m.  Reflections of Hawai'i will be moved to the Sunday morning 9:00 a.m. slot, showcasing Hawaiian Gospel and Christian music from the Islands.

All other syndicated shows will be discontinued effective at midnight Monday morning, May 1st.  Please note it has been agreed to continue the mix of Hawaiian and Polynesian music with the Pop/Soul of the 60's and 70's during our regular playlist programming for Hawaii's New Mix format.
